Karen Bell-Brege is a
public speaker, comic, and author, as well as the founder and
director for the highly acclaimed improvisational comedy troupe
'Totally Unrehearsed Theatre.' For the last 15 years, Bell-Brege has
performed for, and trained hundreds of corporations, health care
organizations, and associations.
Bell-Brege studied
improv with the renowned Paul Sills (the founder of one of the first
performing improv comedy troupes in Chicago) as well as at Second
City in Chicago. She was also the founder, director, performer
and key trainer for improv at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle for 13
years.
As a member of the National Speakers Association,
Bell-Brege gives keynotes and humor training workshops. A
former Communications Specialist for UAW-Chrysler, she is a Telly
Award recipient for one of her video productions. Bell-Brege has
worked in broadcasting as full-time announcer, and has toured
nationally speaking for Working Woman magazine. She also does
commercials and voice-overs and can be heard on WDFN Sportstalk am
1130 doing celebrity impressions, as well as on numerous computer
games by Hasbro, Universal, and Scholastic, and for such
corporations as AT&T, Dell, Enfamil.
She is also a
published author of numerous children's books.
