First of all a big thanks to Dr. Katherine Ellis (one of the most wonderful teachers we have ever met) who through a grant, brought us in as Author and Artist in Residence at Novi Meadows this Winter.  Our goal was to guide her students through the project of  writing, and illustrating their own books...and they succeeded by doing some of the most creative, interesting books! We also presented to the entire school, and found that the place abounds with creativity...and that is mostly due to teachers like Dr. Ellis! Thanks for having us, it was our pleasure.
