1-15-2010 Michigan Center, Our Lady of
Fatima |
 |
 |
|
It was so wonderful visiting Our Lady of Fatima in Michigan
Center last Friday. What a fantastic group of super polite, nice
kids. A big special thank you to Holly Engemann for having
us! |

Three booksignings in one day can be pretty
exhausting...except when you visit special people like Sandy, Steve
& Gloria at Michigan Made in Plymouth. It's been so fun spending
time with you through the years and we are so sad to see you
go! Next it was onto visit our wonderful friends at Borders in
Canton - thank you so much Naidee for everything, and Carrie, and
the rest of your fantastic staff (Gordon, too!). We wrapped up
our holiday visits at one of our favorite spots, Borders in Novi -
Pauline you are just a delight, as is everyone that works there -
thanks so much! |

A special thank you to Virginia and the staff at
Barnes & Noble in Saginaw for having us - so nice to see you
again. And then it was on to a special visit at the Barnes &
Noble in Green Oak! It was in support of the Scranton and
Maltby bookfairs. The members of the band from Scranton that
played did an awesome job! Big hugs to our lovely friends the

12-5-09 Barnes & Noble, Woodland and Rivertown malls,
Grand Rapids |
|
|
|
It was just a delight visiting the new Barnes
& Noble at the Woodland Mall in Grand Rapids! We had so
much fun meeting new people! Taryn, the Community Relations Manager,
should give a course on how to have a super successful signing by
making your author and illustrator feel really welcome - it just
added to the success of the day! Thanks so much Taryn and the rest
of the wonderful Barnes & Noble staff! It was a busy day in
the Grand Rapids area as we were then off to Grandville to visit
lovely Linda - who is another one of the nicest CRM's. Thanks
so much Linda for having us back to your wonderful
store! |

 |

|
I can't think of anything more fun than sharing what we do with
teachers! We were thrilled to be a part of the St. Clair RESA
Professional Development Day. It was wonderful sharing our reading,
writing and art message, and also helping you incorporate the improv
games as creative teaching tools. Thanks for having
us! |

What a great time in Muskegon today! And, as you can see,
'Mick Morris Myth Solver #5 Abominable Snowman...A Frozen
Nightmare' is printed, done and on the shelves. Visit your local
bookstore for your copy today, or if you're in the area, see the
great folks at the Barnes & Noble in Muskegon! Thanks to
Amber for everything, and a big thank you to all of you who came out
to our demonstrations today! Nice meeting you!

It was just a blast visiting Brighton Public Library on Thursday,
August 6th! Thank you so much for having us...what a wonderful
library, with fun friends! |
 |
 |
|
A great big thanks to the Bloomfield Township Public Library and
lovely Carla and Marcella for having us visit! Here are some of the
awesome budding artists and writers that joined us for our drawing
and writing workshop. |

|
There are few places as fun as Traverse City, especially during
the Cherry Festival at Up North Kids Bookstore! Thanks for having us
and thanks to all of our friends that stopped
by. |

Claire's night was an evening to remember. It was great to mingle
with all of the wonderful fundraisers for Claire's Day as well as
some of the most interesting and well known authors and
illustrators. And, if you have never been to the downtown Toledo
Library-we really recommend you go, and head right to the children's
section-totally cool and one of a kind! |

We were proud to once again visit our friends at Novi
Meadow...but this time it was for a very special young man,
Nicholas. He was the winner of our "I Met a Myth" contest! We
presented him with a totally cool gift basket, a set of books for
him and his school, and a Mick Morris Myth Solver Poster for each of
his fellow students. Thanks Dr. Ellis, but with you at the helm, how
could these students not be creative? |
