Library at Southeast, Howell  Southeast Elementary was great fun! Talk about a nice group of kids and teachers! Thanks so much for having us and as you can see in the last picture we really enjoyed your campground in the media center-reminded us of Big Foot might be!

3-27-06 Fiegel Elementary, Plymouth/Canton.  There is nothing quite like going back to your elementary school!  Darrin had great fun as we visited Fiegel Elementary!  He even shared lunchroom stories and went to peak in on his old classroom!  A special big thank you to our friend Patricia!

3-26-06 Borders Farmington Hills.  Look at the great artwork that everyone did at Borders in Farmington Hills on Sunday!  A special surprise was a visit from our friend Rona! And look at all the books she bought (guess everyone at WDFN knows what they're getting now for the Holidays!) And the fun didn't end there!  We went next door to visit our friend Marvin at  Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum and won big!  Even 'The Brain' was smiling!

3-25-06 Borders Utica.  Borders in Utica was a blast! We laughed, had fun and everyone had a great time drawing!  It was especially nice meeting Amy and her beautiful family-and all the other families too!

3-23-06 Bentley Elementary, Canton.  And we ended the day with a visit to Bentley Elementary in Canton.  I think we will see lots of future artists and writers from Michigan. Also, it was a great pleasure seeing our dear friend and Media Specialist Anne Alatalo and meeting the Principal Mr. Meier-here they are holding the schools newest piece of artwork-'Giant Chicken Nugget Invades Tokyo!'  A special thanks to you two and your super teachers for allowing us to entertain and inspire!

3-23-06 Hornung Elementary, Brighton.  What a busy day!  We started today with a morning visit to Hornung Elementary in Brighton where we had a blast!  Every joined in the fun!  A very special thanks to thoughtful Michelle Ford and the rest of the wonderful PTO!

3-18-06 Grand Rapids Michigan.  We love being in a town that supports the arts!  And that is exactly where we spent Saturday - at North Oakview Elementary in Grand Rapids. Talk about creativity-you could feel it in the air at their Young Authors & Illustrator Day.  We had so much fun because there is nothing in the world like being around creative students (and supportive parents)!  Thanks to their lovely Principal Cindy O'Conner and sweet Jodi Phaneuf, and all the other wonderful organizers.  And one more special thanks to all the patient parents who waited in the line across the gym to buy our books and for inspiring your children to follow their dreams!

3-16-06 Pinckney Elementary. If you want to meet some friendly people-got to Pinckney Elementary!  What a fantastic time we had!  And a special thanks to their wonderful PTO for having us!

3-13-06 Gallimore Elementary, Canton.  A blast from the past for Darrin at Gallimore Elementary-he went there for 3rd grade!  Also a special thanks to the very fun and polite students and Ms. Payne and Mr. Learned for having us!   We will see you for Gallimores 50th Anniversary party!

3-8-06 Eriksson Elementary, Canton.  Wow! Look at that cool sign! Thanks so much to everyone at Erikkson for having us, and a special thanks to Ms. Cottey!

3-7-06 DaVinci School, Jackson, MI.  A great big hug and thank you to our good friend Mynda at DaVinci Elementary!  We had a great time and thank you for the artists that did that very special welcome sign.

3-1-06 Ealy Elementary, West Bloomfield.  Ealy is awesome!  What a way to start reading month!  We laughed, we drew, listened, and participated-you were just great!  Thanks for the wonderful drawings too! There certainly are some talented artists at Ealy-be sure to click on the 'Your Sketches' icon to check out the awesome drawings! And a super special thanks to Mrs. Issner and Principal DeYoung!  

2-28-06 Woodland Meadows, Saline.  Fantastic! That's the only word to describe the time that we had!  For starters the decorations were phenomenal from spiders to dinosaurs for the covers that Mr. Brege created for many of the Chillers, and the coolest aliens for Mick Morris Myth Solver!  We had so much fun and the hospitality was number one!  There we are enjoying one delicious lunch...and special thanks to Mary, Janet, Principal Heimerdinger , Cheryl,  and every other wonderful teacher and parent who we had the pleasure of being invited by-see you again soon!

2-27-06 Oxbow Elementary, White Lake.  Wanna get warmed up in Michigan?  Just visit Oxbow Elementary!  Talk about a fantastic group of people!  The principal, teachers, students, custodian-everyone radiated happiness and warmth! The laughter was endless!  Special thanks to Ms. Sell, Ms. Chard and Ms. Reger!

2-24-06 NorthWest Elementary, Howell.  At Northwest a good time was had by all!  We had two fantastic groups, and the best part about it was hearing things from Mick's viewpoint! Nothing like family time!  Thanks for all your great participation and thank you Mary Lou!

2-23-06 Marble Elementary, Lansing.  It was great being back at Marble Elementary-especially to talk about Mick Morris Myth Solver!  Special thanks to April pictured here with Karen and her lovely daughters Lilly and Violet.

2-22-06 Reo Elementary, Lansing. We have to tell you that this was one of the most wonderful schools that we have ever visited (and they are all wonderful!).  Special thanks to Ms. Johnson Ray and Ms. Barbara Curtis for having us!  Darrin is in his glory with his new pals! Thanks Reo!

2-11-06 Schulers Books in Okemos.  What a fun day! We had the pleasure of visiting and drawing with some fantastic artists at Schulers Books & Music in Okemos. A special thanks to Audrey Brockhaus and all of her wonderful staff for making us feel right at home! And a surprise visit came from one of Darrin's college buddies and his two beautiful children...notice they are pointing to the ART sign, that's for all of our artist friends and a special message to our friend 'ARTHUR' in California.
