12-1-07  Borders Dearborn

We had the priviledge of visiting the beautiful Borders store in Dearborn!  We had a great time and it was wonderful to see our friend from Beverly Hills and meet new friends too!  Thanks so much for your awesome hospitality!

12-1-07  Borders Utica

Although we have fun at all bookstores, some just radiate warmth! That's what happened yesterday when we got to visit Borders Books in Utica. We had such a great time! A super big special thank you to Kristen, Ellen, Amy, Pat, and everyone else that we had the pleasure of meeting! You are the best, and we will come back anytime!

11-10-07  Leelanau Books, Leeland MI

What a great weekend in Leland!  But then I don't think there is ever a weekend up there that isn't totally cool!  Thanks to all of our friends and fans that came to see us! And a special thanks to Lori and Rebecca!

11-3-07 Nanna's Bookstore, Perrysburg OH.

Look below and see our latest visit to Nanna's Bookstore in Perrysburg, Ohio.  We were thrilled to be among many wonderful local authors!  Mick had fun learing about a Ventriloquist & Author's dummy! A special thank you to Lynda and her lovely staff!

10-26-07 Barnes&Noble Green Oak Village.  Halloween Costume Contest.  Mick of Mick Morris Myth Solver was the judge for the Halloween Extravaganza at the Barnes & Noble in the new Green Oak Village Mall.  Mick  was a zombie and guess who Darth Vader  was...it was a blast!  Thanks to all the contestants that that showed up - every costume was terrific!  A special thanks to Lisa and Jenn!

10-7-07 Borders Canton.  Topping off our weekend was being invited to visit the brand new Canton Borders Books! What a fantastic store! A big thank you to one of our favorite people Nicole Paginette, and to all the other wonderful staff, and all of our new friends that came by to see us today! Even our wild and crazy friend John Lucas! It was great meeting everybody! Thanks so much! Read on!

9-22-07 Barnes and Noble, Ann Arbor.  What a great day to be at Barnes & Noble in Ann Arbor.  A great big thank you to the lovely staff, and Stormy and Susan. Thanks so much for having us and we're looking forward to coming back!

8-24-07 Charlevoix Public Library.  It was an honor to spend some time with other authors and illustrators at the benefit for 'Up North Kids Camps' sponsored by the bookstore Up North Kids at the beautiful new Charlevoix Public Library.  It was great spending some time with Robbyn and Nick van Frankenhuyzen!  They have so many fantastic picture books out!   Kara's husband has a job on his hands rescuing stretchy aliens from the cieling with balloons...and guess what? He did it!  Mick had a blast chatting with Paleo Joe author of the 'Dinosaur Detective Club'...when it comes to being a paleontologist, he's the real deal, and just as cool as his books!  Thanks so very much Kara and Brandy from Up North Kids for inviting us!  We had a great time and you are wonderful hosts!

8-11-07 Les Chenaux Islands Antique Boat Show & Festival of the Arts, Hessel MI (in the U.P.).  Kristen you and your family are fabulous! Thanks for having us back at the Hessel Boat Show for Safe Harbor Books! There is nothing like chatting with friends and book lovers while looking out at that gorgeous view!

8-12-07 Island Book Store, Mackinac Island, MI.  It was back to the Island Bookstore on Mackinac Island, one of our favorite bookstores! Every time we're there, they are so kind and welcoming...They make artists and writers feel right at home. Mick was even stopped in the street for an autograph and our Aunt Gail and Uncle Wayne stopped by (Happy 30th Anniversary you two!). And as you can see the little brown bats still hang out by the book store, they must like to read too!Thanks so much Tamora, Cass, Megan and friends!!!

8-13-07 Mackinaw City Public Library.  A special thank you to Susan and the wonderful Mackinaw City Public Library! We had a great time!

 

7-10-07 Pinckney Library.  Thank you to the Pinckney Library and all of our new friends that joined us for the art, reading and writing intensive!  Follow your dreams, you guys have talent! 

6-19-07 Dearborn Public Library.  .WOW!  What fun we had visiting Caroline Kennedy Library in Dearborn!  We had fun, and we were especially excited to talk about 'Mick Morris Myth Solver #4 Grudge of the Gremlins!' since it is based right in Dearborn at the Henry Ford Museum. The Myth Solver gang also stops in at Cheli's Chili! We love Dearborn! A big thank you to our pal Rob Butler!

5-5-07 Barnes & Noble, Green Oak.  It was great to be back visiting our wonderful friends at Barnes & Noble in Green Oak Township! Thanks for having us, you guys rule!

3-27-07 Westwood Elementary.  Wonderful weather, wonderful school!  We had a great time today at Westwood Elementary.  Thanks so much for your hospitality, and a special thank you to Ms. Sondra Jeffrey and Jim Walter!  Check out the massive  "Race Into Reading"  3D poster / Standee in their library.  Fantastic.

3-24-07 & 3-25-07 Borders in Novi, MI and Toledo, OH.  We had such a good time at the Novi Borders with Pauline, Kathy, Crystal, Jada, Dagan, Lauren and Victoria.  A big thanks to our friend Pauline for having us visit!  Then it was onto Toledo!  Where Adriane, Kevin, and John kept us smiling all day!  Thanks to all for your kind welcome and warm hospitality!

3-22-07 Hardy Elementary.  We love Hardy Elementary!  What a wonderful group of students you are. Thanks for joining in the fun and learning!  And also a special thanks to Jill King!

3-20-07 Country Elementary Young Authors Night. It was just amazing to see so many aspiring writers and illustrators at Country Elementary's Young Author Night!  What talent!  Keep writing, illustrating and following your dreams!  A special thanks to Carrie Fossleman and Rhonda Moore, and all the other wonderful people involved!

3-13-07 Lincoln Elementary.  A great time was had by all as we had the pleasure of visiting Lincoln Elementary!  Even Mick got to join in the fun!  This is the home of future writers, and a super, special thank you to Mrs. Iloff! .

3-5-07 Pleasant Ridge.  .Wow...talk about the royal treatment!  Thanks so much Lynelle and Nancy and the Pleasant Ridge PTO!  Lunch was lovely and the children were so wonderful!  You really took great care of us and we really appreciate it.  Great seeing Maddy and Jack again too!

3-6-07 Voyager Elementary.  Thanks so Kathy Malewitz and Principal Jason Fieg for having us visit your wonderful school!  We really enjoyed visiting!
